The Ras Bir camp is located a few km north of Obock, a few hundred meters from the eponymous lighthouse, which can be visited; once you have climbed the 250 steps of the lighthouse, you will appreciate a superb panorama of the coast.
Like Henry de Monfreid, you will be seduced by this place at the end of the world, ideal for snorkeling.
The camp is nicely laid out and fish is often on the menu for meals on-site.
